I've been holding onto this photo for a while from my family to try to get it scanned in so we can all have as a digital photo and hopefully keep for a long time.
This is one of the few photos I've ever seen of my grandfather when he was younger. Not sure why that is. But it's so easy to see the grandfather I know in this photo. He really hasn't changed all that much.
Looks like I may be going along with the family this year to Grampa's MacArthur reunion down in Norfolk, VA and I'm very excited about it. I think it will be great to be able to hear more stories from some of the guys that were in the unit with him and just others that were involved in that whole period of history.
